Review of Bienvenue Chapters 1, 2, and 3

bienvenue

I did not expect to fall in love with one of my first few reviews like this. But I ADORE this book. There is some supernatural, some steampunk, a hint of romance, and a very quirky main character that is easily relatable. I recommend if you like any of those things. I don’t want to spoil anything so I will not go in depth with explaining the book. I will instead post the synopsis from the book.

“Sharp-tongued, rebellious, and a bona-fide genius, Adela is the shame of her aristocratic family because she won’t change who she is to find a husband. What happens when her mother secures an arranged marriage between her vibrant young daughter and a sickly French recluse? Alternative romance and historical fantasy, the steampunk Victorian supernatural epic Bienvenue chronicles the adventures of the beautiful and rebellious genius, Adela Wyss, and her forced marriage to Vincent Lautrec, an ailing recluse living in isolation in the French countryside.”

Check it out on Amazon or Goodreads.
